Hi there! My name is Melissa and I am about to embark on the biggest adventure of my life. I’ll be joining a class of about 100 amazing individuals who will become my family for the next four years as members of the University of Florida College of Dentistry Class of 2021.
With the help of River Oak Dental (my work family for the past three years), I’m starting this virtual diary for a number of reasons— to give insight to future students interested in dentistry, to have memoirs for myself and my family to look back on, to update the people I’ll be missing back home, and to give the general public a taste of how their dentists actually became their dentists!
