I had been a Pediatric and Orthodontic Dental Assistant for over 20 years before joining the River Oak family in March 2019. Born and raised in Connecticut, my husband and I relocated to Florida in 2011. We love the warm weather and sunshine but miss the charm of New England during the holidays. When I’m not at the office, my daughter and I volunteer for Touch of Grey Senior Dog Rescue. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Shawn and daughter, Madison. We love weekend getaways to different Florida destinations, sushi nights at our favorite local restaurant and occasional beach days. Most of our weekends are usually spent hanging out with our three dogs Gemma, Finley, and Kuma.

My name is Khadijah Mckinney, and I currently work as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant here at River Oak Dental. My interest in dentistry sparked around the age of 10, having wearing braces for the majority of my childhood and teens, I found myself becoming more and more intrigued with dentistry, which eventually led me to pursue a career in the field.
In my spare time, I like spending quality time with my mother Brenda and older sister Ashley. Our favorite thing to do as a family is to watch Family Feud together, trying to guess all the number one answers. I am also a bit of a book worm and tend to always have my nose in a really good mystery or sci-fi book.
As of today, my personal main goal as an assistant is to help you maintain and achieve your ideal smile, as well as provide you the comfort and care during your dental treatment, which I feel is just as important as the treatment itself.
I fully believe that everyone can achieve their optimal smile, my job is just to help you along the way, the best way I can.

My name is Natalie and I have the pleasure of working with my River Oak Dental Family. I have been a dental hygienist for 12 years. I feel education is a very important part of my job. The care I provide is gentle yet thorough and I strive to have every patient walk out the door with a smile on their face!
